Cuisine Cuisine is an elegant Michelin starred restaurant in Hong Kong that offers a contemporary take on Cantonese cuisine. True to the Cantonese culinary tradition, of course, I had to try their famous roasted Peking duck. I was so excited to try this restaurant that I booked our reservations a month early
.
The modern and upscale interior of the restaurant.
This is the crab meat with minced shrimp balls and black truffle, topped with caviar served in pumpkin soup. This entry won the Best Culinary Award for 2011 prepared by the talented, Chef Yu. It was light and beautiful.
The Peking Duck carving bit was magic to my eyes.
We ordered the roasted Peking duck served two ways: Roasted duck served in three flavors of pancakes (Plain, spinach and ginger, carrot and garlic). I think my favorite was the spinach and ginger pancake.
With that, we also had a generous serving of the sautéed shredded duck with vegetables.
More than the wonderful sights and tastes, it was a great experience.
No photos for desserts. I was too full and happy to order one !
Happy Eating! xx
