Two truths, I just discovered while watching the Olympics ;
1. You never want to see ANYBODY fall or fail.
2. You will cry in their defeat and cheer for their glory, even if you can’t spell or pronounce or point in the globe the country they are representing.
Either I’m very much in touch with humanity like Bono or just PMSing.
You’re so right, I think it’s partly because you can see how hard everyone trys. Everyone gives a damn so it’s heartbreaking if they don’t do well.
So true. I guess it’s because it has become so rare for all of us to witness a lifetime of real hard work and dedication.
